The Danger Man series made Patrick McGoohan one of the most popular TV actors and gave him the opportunity to do the Prisoner series after his own fashion in 1966. Of interest here is that the Village in TP, aka Portmeirion, can be seen in two Danger Man episodes: A View From The Villa and Colony Three. While shooting these episodes, McGoohan decided that the place was a suitable setting for the Prisoner series.
