My first contact with Cavaliers was in the late 70 ies, when my family looked after a tricolour lady for some friends. We became ever so fond of her, and were able to get a Cavalier of our own in 1980. It was ofcourse also a tricolour and we called her "Tutti". She was by Ch Chacombe Eugene out of Alexandra and she lived to be 14 years and 7 months. Years later I fell in love with wholecolours and was allowed to purchase the prettiest black and tan puppybitch one can imagine - Sannsiss Cavalier Felicia. She was shortly afterwards followed by two wonderful ruby girls - Campanards Nina and Campanards Even Nicer Than Mum, lovely sound Cavaliers both of them.

The first litter was born in July 1996 and it was such a thrill!
Soundness and health are paramount in my breeding and the aim is to breed healthy and long living Cavaliers with typical temperaments. This is why I try to use as old males as possible - with clear hearts - at stud. All my Cavaliers are cardiologists tested annually.
