You see them everywhere. On Tv. In the newspapers. Or in the streets.
Or sometimes right in front of you. The sometimes very they are dirty and torn. Or sometimes just poor and hungry. Or the kids that are starving to death in some country more than a hundred miles away. Now you can help them, and it doesn´t cost more than a minute or two of your time. There is a lot of websites on the Internet that says that they´re helping people. Most of them don´t. How can you be sure that the websites are actually donating any money? I´ve listed some of the sites that really help people. How do I know that they help people you say, well, some friends of mine have actually seen a couple of them in action in Africa, others have a so called 90 account in Sweden, and then they´re controlled by “stiftelsen för insamlingskontroll” which translates to “foundation for aid control”. Rest assured that your effort will result in help to the needing people. Here are the links: www.webaid.nu: in Swedish only at the moment. here you have a lot of good services. for example, if you sign up for their email system and start using, money will be generated by each mail you send. You also have click of the day, a button which takes you to one of their sponsors when you click it. Go there
The hunger site. Similar to webaid, but without many of the feature in webaid. Go there
At childemergency.org you donate 0,75 swedish crowns for each click you make. The money is enough for 1/4 water purification tablet. The site is being run by UNICEF which ensures that money will reach the purpose intended. |
