Dan Wahlbeck, Photographer.

I take photograps for web pages, records, posters and other advertising purposes. I also do portraits and product photos.

My photography is mainly focused on people and situations. What I try to do is to capture the inner essence of the people I meet, the hidden sides of a person that only flashes by for a split second, to freeze the movements and to capture the poses.

My father brought my interest in photography to life at an early age as he used to let me follow him to the darkroom. To watch black and white pictures slowly appear at the clean sheets, magical moments. At the age of 8 I started to borrow my dads SLR camera, back then it was just another fun game to me. At 19 I bought my first used SLR camera and the fun game started to grow to another depth. My interest in graphical composition grew and I started to develop it through practise together with all the artistic people I always had around me. The rest is history.
