Well, here comes some of it...I was born in 1972 and raised in the very north of Sweden, in a town called Luleå . Well not quite, in a small village outside Luleå called Alvik (population about 1000). My family consists of dad, Jan-Olof, and mom, Märta, and three brothers, Anders (that's me), Kjell and Simon. In Alvik I went to school and played football with my friends and in the local club Alviks IK, and grew older. Old enough Mother Svea (like the in the US Onkel Sam) called upon me to do my military service in The Royal Swedish Army, which I did at I19/P5 (now MekB19). For 15 months I lived in the forests around Boden and learned how to beat the Russians with my 28 men on skis. I left the army as a 2nd Lieutenant (Fänrik), applied for higher studies in Uppsala, and here I am! It took me seven years, but in 2000 I got
double degrees (in Biotech Engineering and Business), and
it was time to move on to the rest of my life. In august 2000 I started at Gyros AB and we develop
a cd-based microfluidics platform for the biotech
applications of the future. One year later, in september 2001,
I changed jobs at Gyros and joined the Marketing team and started
working as Application Specialist. The spring of 2002 we are launching the first product,
which is a product for the proteomics industry. A small page about different jobs I have had And here's my Curriculum Vitae Pics: (Almost only of me, but I am really not
very self-centred, I just like pics, and most of my
digitized pics are of me!) Anders Hedström |
