About this site.

The equipment to make this site.

As for making the individual pages I have used Netscape Composer to make the base design, but then also Notepad.Exe for editing the HTML as correctly as possible.
I have used a flat bed scanner - Mustek 600 CP - for scanning the album covers and I have used iPhoto Plus 4 for adjusting these scanned pictures. I have also somewhat used the small but very versatile program IrfanView for some small picture adjustments too.
I have made all the small buttons myself. I used IrfanView for making these buttons. It might not be the most easy program to make buttons with, and the buttons may not be the most flashy ones, but hey, the program costs nothing!

The man behind this site and my general thought.

I am an Yngwie fan since about 1987. It all started when I heard Liar from at that time the new album Trilogy. At that time I was doing my military service.

I have many times, in fact since Odyssey, have had my disbelieves about Yngwie and his music, but every time I have had to change my opinion. I think it was because since Odyssey no one of Yngwie's albums have sounded like the first three and it's a natural thing to questioning new things - things that you are not use to.

Every time, however, I think Yngwie have proved time and time again that his music doesn't stand still - it changes all the time and every new album is different to the former. Good! Still he has kept some of the things that makes Yngwie to be Yngwie, for instance his way of handling the guitar and his solos. However, he has also put in new elements in his music, such as more background vocal harmonies like on the album Facing The Animal and in the song Miracle Of Life from his latest album War To End All Wars.

Also he has such a variety of his music, a few examples:
Icarus' Dream Suite Op. 4, Crying, Leviathan, Pyramid Of Cheops, Vengeance, Air On A Theme, Leonardo, Quantum Leap, Sarabande and Black Sheep Of The Family.
These songs are only a few but shows the great variety of Yngwie. Who can match that?
