| With a completely new lineup of musicians and again in a different
style, Yngwie produced an album that may not be the average fan's favorite.
Of Yngwie's famous way of playing neo-classic heavy metal are only a few
songs recognized, and for the first time a ballad is on an Yngwie album
- Save Our Love and only one song is instrumental - the title song
Eclipse.
Yngwie had some great success with this album and songs like Making Love, the ballad mentioned above and especially Bedroom Eyes was largely played on radio and TV. The album was a further development into the more pop orientated music from the precursor album Odyssey. Highlights are the songs Motherless Child, Demon Driver, See You In Hell and Eclipse, which all have neo-classic guitar playing in the songs.
