My own opinion of this album.
  • This album is an all cover album.
Inspiration is different to all other Yngwie albums as it is a tribute cover album. The songs has not therefore the typical Yngwie sound, but typical 1970's and early 1980's mixed with Yngwie's guitar play.
No instrumental is another thing that differs this album to the other Yngwie studio albums. Also the guitar is not as obvious (except for the solos) as on the other albums, and in some songs the keyboards do play a more evident role than usual.
The songs are quite even with Child In Time as the highlight of this album.
Note that Yngwie himself are the lead singer on the Jimi Hendrix song Manic Depression, which he does quite good.
