My own opinion of this album.
  • This album is the best sold Yngwie album ever.
Odyssey was Yngwie's comeback as a musician after his car accident that had made him unable to use his right hand for some time and had to go through a hard rehabilitation process.
The album's stamp is a more pop orientated than his earlier three albums and was largely played on radio stations and music video channels like the MTV.
Highlights of this album includes: Rising Force, Riot In The Dungeons, Memories and the superb Krakatau which all shows Yngwie's best sides.
For the first time Yngwie did not write any lyrics on the album.
