mineral trip to Namibia 2004
In summer 2004 I am organizing mineral trips to Namibia. Are you interested? In that case you fill in the lines below and I will get in touch with you.
Here are the presuppositions: - We travel with an educated geologist from Namibia who is meeting us at the airport of Windhoek - date is from May to October - we travel around in the desert for 14 days - the best group is totally 9 persons, can be bigger up to 18. With nine p we can use smaller Toyota cars and we can reach more distance places - there are almost short or very short distances between cars and mineral sites - the best time of the year to lock for minerals are May or August when the days are not so warm and have more daylight - half of the time we live in tents and the other half in hotels or pensions - in June/July it can be up to 30 degrees Celsius and below freezing point in the evening and night - preliminary cost for a 14 days trip in the desert excluding fly ticket is = 2 000 euro - in this prize is everything included from arrival at the airport until we leave at the same place 16 days later - the prize is depending on how many we are, number of nights in hotels and number of drivers/guides we need.
