Price-list
Transcription fee
•SEK 600 per hour, with a minimum charge of SEK 300. There will be no transcription fee if more than 50 extracts are requested in a single order. This charge works out at a very rough SEK 50 per species - assuming only one or two recordings per species.

Royalty fee
Unlike most other archives, there is just one price irrespective of the length of the sound.
•SEK 600 for each extract used for film, video, MD, CD, DVD or CD-ROM.
•SEK 400 for each extract used for standard audio cassette, TV and radio broadcast.
•Publishers issuing a product on several different media are paying an additional SEK 200 per extract and media; e.g. a guide to British bird song issued on audio cassette, CD and Mini-disc should pay SEK 1000 (600+200+200) for each extract.

Material fee
•SEK 140 per DAT cassette (CD, DVD, Mini-disc, standard audio cassette, open spool, video etc. on request)
• An additional SEK 50-100 per sound delivered in any of the compressed formats Real Audio, WAVE, AIFF, or similar. This option applies only if a larger quantity of sounds is ordered.

VAT
•25% (Swedish customers only)

Post and packing is included, except for express delivery.

Terms and conditions
Krister Mild Bioacoustics offers non-exclusive licences to reproduce sound-recordings under the following terms and conditions:

• Recordings are provided only if the customer signs and returns the Contract/Licence agreement.

• Licences are usually restricted in terms of time, format and territories, and apply to one fixed title only.

• Provision of the recording(s) is conditional upon payment of the royalty fees and service charges.

• The recording(s) shall not be put to any other than the declared use by the named customer without the prior written permission of Krister Mild Bioacoustics.

• Copies of the recording(s) obtained may not be provided to other persons or organisations.

• Copies of the recording(s) obtained shall not be used in any other electronic media publication nor be included in any electronic database either during or after the term of the agreement.

• Krister Mild Bioacoustics must be acknowledged in any publication (article, book, audio cassette, video, CD, mini-disc, DVD, CD-ROM or any other electronic format) resulting from the recorded sound or the studies of the recordings obtained.

• Krister Mild Bioacoustics must be properly credited as the copyright owner in these recordings, and a notice must be posted in the packaging that they are for private use only, that they may not be distributed to any other party and that all unauthorised copying, hiring, lending, public performance and broadcasting is strictly prohibited (unless otherwise stated in the agreed Contract/Licence agreement).

• Krister Mild Bioacoustics must be provided with at least two free copies of the product on release (publication, audio cassette, video, CD, Mini-disc, DVD, CD-ROM or any other electronic format), which is in any way based on the recordings obtained. If a product, in any way based on Krister Mild’s recordings, is released on several different media, Krister Mild Bioacoustics shall be provided with at least two free copies of every format involved.

• Payment should be received within 20 days of receipt of copies. All charges are exclusive of VAT.

• Krister Mild Bioacoustics reserves the right not to supply recordings at its discretion.
