Immature Little Bittern at Bredmar, Landsort, Sörmland, Sweden Oct 21, 2002 Initially flushed in the afternoon, a small group of birders were forntunate enough to relocate the bird just before dusk when it climbed a willow bush. It then flew to some alder trees, where it was seen and photographed at close range until after dark. |
