Wooden skis
These wooden skies are old friends used for many years and in varying ski conditions.

I also use another pair made of birch wood by myself measuring 2.4 m in length and a width of 9 cm, suitable for soft snow skiing in the mountain forest.

Open fire
In the mountain forest is open fire the most effecient way of cooking the food.

Our skis scratch against the hard snow, and we take turns being the leader making tracks. In spite of the increasing evening cold we are warm from being in movement. The sun begins to set and turns into red.
