This site provides patched versions of the Palm Portable Keyboard driver to give you Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish, Polish and DVORAK keyboard layouts with your Palm Portable Keyboard.
Download Swedish and Finnish Palm Portable Keyboard driver
Download Danish and Norwegian Palm Portable Keyboard driver
Download Polish Palm Portable Keyboard driver - Note: The Polish driver requires Interpilot or a similar program.
Download DVORAK Palm Portable Keyboard drivers - These patches are produced by Don Singer. There is one traditional Dvorak version, and one M$-dvorak version. See the included Readme-file for details.
All the patched drivers, so far, are based on the original Palm Portable Keyboard driver version 1.1. Note that all the drivers are Copyright (c) Palm Computing, because the original driver is, even if I and Don Singer have changed it. Also note that Palm Computing no longer provide the keyboard driver version 1.1 on their website, and they recommend a later version. Myself, I have found no errors in version 1.1, though it has been reported to me some minor differences between 1.1 and 1.2. I have had no error reports on any of my patches, and users have run them since June 2000.
I have NOT made any similar patch for the 1.2 driver or later, and I have no plans for it. If you want to pay me to do it, drop me an email.
I take full responsibility of any damage this software may cause, both direct and implied. Not.

This was added at the request of, and with help from Andrzej Uryga, Poland. Lets you use ALT+A, C, E, L, N, O, S, X and Z to get the right polish modified letters. For this patch to work properly, you must - MUST - also run a program that modifies the character table. Interpilot seems to be the best program that does this. An alternative is Bocian, which might not work under Palm OS 3.5 or higher. Both are available at www.palmgear.com. These programs will also help you with polish graffiti writing. If you don't run any of them, the polish keyboard patch will just be a mess.
See the included Readme-file for Don Singer's own description.
If you know 68000 assembler, and want to spend a few hours to patch the driver for another keyboard layout, drop me an email and I will send you some comments to help.
The Graffiti system also needs localization. Å, Ä, Ö and Ø are difficult to write (Æ is easier). I recommend Erisma's freeware solution to this. To use their program, you must also use Hackmaster (shareware) from Daggerware. For Polish graffiti, the program Interpilot takes care of that, and you have to run that program anyway (or another program that modifies the character table) for the polish keyboard localization to work.
